My husband and I have not purchased a home in 23 years. This process was new in some aspects because there are different requirements for a condo purchase versus a single family home. At closing there was miscommunication between the lender and title company and us as the buyer. For a great experience we expected to have accurate information relayed to us before and at closing regarding when our first mortgage payment would be due. We stressed this since BEFORE we even had an offer accepted. unfortunately, we were told our first mortgage was due July 1st and at closing we found out it is actually due June 1st.
